1. Different output modes.
The hydraulic pump is a conversion device that converts the mechanical energy of the motor into the hydraulic energy, and outputs the flow and pressure, hoping the volume efficiency is high; the hydraulic motor is a conversion device that converts the pressure energy of the liquid into the mechanical energy, hoping the mechanical efficiency is high.
Therefore, the hydraulic pump is the energy device, and the hydraulic motor is the actuator.
2. The output shaft turns differently.
The steering of the output shaft of the hydraulic motor must be able to rotate forward and reverse, so its structure is symmetrical; while some hydraulic pumps (such as gear pump, vane pump, etc.) have clear regulations on steering, which can only rotate in one direction, and can not change the selection direction at will.
3. The oil port configuration is different.
In addition to the oil inlet and outlet of the hydraulic motor, there are separate oil leakage ports; generally, the hydraulic pump only has the oil inlet and outlet (except for the axial piston pump), and the internal leakage oil is connected with the oil inlet.
4. Motor volume efficiency is different.
The volumetric efficiency of the hydraulic motor is lower than that of the hydraulic pump.
5. Different speed.
Generally, the working speed of the hydraulic pump is relatively high, while the output speed of the hydraulic motor is relatively low.
6. The specifications of oil suction port are different.
The suction port of gear pump is large and the drain port is small, while the suction and drain ports of gear hydraulic motor are the same.
